December 2025 | Reflecting on the Year and Looking Ahead
Welcome to the December edition of the Community Wellness Newsletter from New Leaf
Family Services & Wellness Center. As we reach the end of 2025, we take this opportunity to
reflect on the past year, celebrate the progress made within our community, and look forward to
the opportunities that the new year will bring.
Throughout this year, our monthly newsletters have focused on important topics related to
emotional wellness, resilience, healthy communication, and building supportive communities.
Our goal has been to provide information and encouragement that supports individuals and
families on their journey toward improved mental and emotional well-being.
Reflecting on the Past Year
Over the past year, New Leaf Family Services & Wellness Center has remained committed to
helping individuals develop the tools and skills needed to navigate life’s challenges and build
healthier futures.
Through behavioral health services, psychosocial rehabilitation programs, and community
resource connections, we have continued to support individuals working toward greater
emotional stability and personal growth.
Our community support efforts have included:
Transportation assistance through bus passes
Referrals for transitional housing programs
Food and clothing pantry support (based on availability)
Assistance with Nevada ID and Social Security applications
Community referrals connecting individuals and families with local support resources
These services help individuals address practical challenges while focusing on their emotional
wellness and long-term stability.
Setting Healthy Goals for the New Year
The end of the year is a natural time for reflection and goal setting. Creating thoughtful and
realistic goals can help individuals maintain motivation and continue making progress toward
personal growth.
When setting goals for the new year, consider focusing on areas such as:
Improving emotional self-awareness
Developing healthy routines and habits
Strengthening relationships and communication
Practicing mindfulness and stress management
Seeking support when needed
Small, consistent steps can lead to meaningful progress over time.

Looking Ahead to 2026
As we enter the new year, New Leaf Family Services & Wellness Center will be pivoting
toward additional forms of outreach and community connection in order to expand how we
support individuals and families.
While this will be the final edition of our monthly newsletter series, our commitment to
community engagement will continue through new initiatives, partnerships, and outreach efforts
designed to strengthen support networks and increase access to behavioral health resources.
We look forward to continuing our work with the community in new and meaningful ways.
